Fabulous Embroidery Patterns

I met a fun lady at the expo this weekend and we got talking about handwork. She's teaching her daughters to embroider. I learned from my Grandma Jardine.

I've found a lot of great embroidery patterns online. I'm really excited to start working on my most recent find, a few patterns from Penguin & Fish. These patterns were just what I was looking for. They've got a really current feel, but still have a refined feel that is missing from some of the patterns I've been seeing lately.

A Little Help from Jen

Not only was Jen sweet enough to come to the Expo to help sell fabric, she went the extra mile and wore her favorite Crocs to coordinate with the Ruffle Apron.

We're having a great time at the Women's Expo at UVU today. There are so many fun things here, but better yet, we are meeting so many fun people. It's also been great to see so many friends we met at the Freedom Festival!

Remember my jellyroll quilt?

When I left Park City a couple of weekends ago, my jellyroll quilt was almost finished. Do you have a whole closet full of almost finished projects? I'm so glad that this quilt is not destined for that closet in my house! The top and the back are finished and ready to go to the quilter.

It ended up being twin size and I'm really happy with the way it all came together.

Freedom Festival

This is probably the way that most of you remember meeting us for the first time...
